Empowering Facilities with Checkpoints

March 8, 2024/in Bio Tech, Blood & Tissue Banks, Customized Solutions, Guardian, Hospitals, Laboratories, News

Isensix delivers wireless, real-time environmental data to a variety of facilities, catering to a range of usages. Recognizing every customer has unique requirements, Isensix excels at providing an array of features that address the needs of each individual application. One such option is checkpoints. In the Isensix system, checkpoints help each facility take some ownership of its environmental monitoring. Although Isensix remains the safeguard, checkpoints allow a facility to make sure everything is operating smoothly.

Utilizing checkpoints is as easy as checking the appropriate box. When active, checkpoints prompt the user to inspect and review and acknowledge every sensor’s status within each zone. Users can then investigate out-of-range or abnormal conditions if observed.

We recommend utilizing the checkpoint feature at least once per day. However, multiple daily checkpoints can also be configured. For example, morning, afternoon, and evening checkpoints can be configured in conjunction with staff rotations. Each checkpoint’s start-time can align with a shift change.

When a checkpoint is available to complete, the system will notify the user with flashing buttons in addition to a banner at the top of all monitoring pages to identify the specific zone that needs to be checked. Once a checkpoint has been fulfilled for a designated time frame, the notifications cease, and the checkpoint cannot be performed again during that same period of time.

For periodic reviews and to assist with regulatory requirements, the checkpoints feature can also produce a report for users. This report contains helpful information such as who performed each checkpoint, when the checkpoints were completed, each sensor’s value or status at the time of the checkpoint, any missed checkpoints, and more.

Isensix strives to be a dependable partner to our customers. We monitor the health of every customer server 24/7, and in turn, our customers assume the day-to-day responsibility of sensor checks. Our checkpoints feature allows our customers to easily take ownership of their system—always backed by our superior support.
